Well, now for an acctual post about Sanibel.
This island is kinda big, and I was sceptical about it, since it is in the Gulf of Mexico, but I am impressed. The local girls, after searchin in the wrong places, such as the beach, are cute. There are too many forigen people here, mainly German, Dutch, Russian, and Middle Eastern people here, cause they all wear speedos. The shops are awesome. I was expecting insane prices, but alot of things are alot cheaper than anything on the mainland. I got three shirts, 2 with some hot girls on it, and an "ass" shirt (ass as in the animal), a shark tooth necklace (the sucker is huge), and a chain with two pendants for it, one with the hawian symbol for "Pyro" and one that I havent taken off yet, and acctual silver coin from a Spanish Galleon that was sunk by pirates over 300 years ago, and yes, that cost a pretty penny, but I got it for alot cheaper than anywhere else (straight from the man who discovered it). I even have a government document showing the authenticity for it. And the resturants, they are top die for. There is a place that we have in Maryland, but it does not compair, it is Cheeburger Cheeburger. They have one of those challanges for eating a large chesburger, 20 mother fin' ounces, and you know what, I set a record. Not even trying, I finished it in 5 minutes, and my picture is not on their wall for the people who where able to finish it. And at the beaches, the shells are insane. Shells you see in stores for 30-250 dollars are everywhere, and most of the tourists dont knoe where to look without comitition form eachother. My dad and I (since we grew up visiting Florida) know that you look in the water, so we snorkle and fins as many as our pockets can hold, or if we find a large one, just bring that in. And alot of the good shells are burried, so you have to dig for them. The problem is, when you sift randomly through the sand, you never know what you will find. Ask the big ass crab that I grabbed. And have any of you seen a live Sea Dollar??? I have only seen it's skeleton (the shell), but they are acctually alive here, something I have never seen, nor my father in 40 years of visiting Florida, and they are everywhere.
Anyways, I am going out again to visit the local shops, and maybe flirt with some more of the local girls! If anyone wants something, or just wants to get in touch with me, my mother took my phone out of the car and left it at my grandfathers, so call my dad at (443)889-4441
